The Challengers managed to close the gap in the top of the fifth inning by scoring nine runs as Dropic started to struggle. He walked three batters and hit one with a pitch with the bases loaded, and his defense made three errors to enable the Challengers to get within six runs.
But the Braves had the only right answer ready as they scored nine runs by themselves in the bottom half of the inning off reliever Beni Blank to put the game away.
The Challengers didn't manage to score any more runs in the final two innings while the Braves added two more runs for the final score of 29-12.
