1Challengers dominate Indians in 12-1 win
Rookie Tatsuhiko Watanabe led his Challengers to a 12-1 win over the newly-promoted Lausanne Indians, collecting seven RBIs on two homers and two RBI-singles, while Stefan Haltmeier pitched six innings for the win.The Challengers built up a 9-1 lead after three innings and tacked on three more runs in the seventh. The Indians' lone run came on Julien Schekter's RBI-single in the second that scored Yves Rihs who hit the only extra-base hit for his team off Haltmeier.
Saentis Zeller also had a perfect game with a 3-for-3 performance, including two RBIs and the only stolen base of the game, and Luigi Cinardi added another three hits, raising his batting average to .556 on the season.
