9Challengers, Fleischacker dominate Frogs 9-1
The Challengers reached the .500 mark for the first time since Opening Day by sweeping the Frogs in Sunday's doubleheader.Player coach Andy Fleischacker got his first win of the season by tossing five strong innings, allowing only Christian Klarer's solo shot in the fourth inning.
Klarer added a double and a single to his performance, and only two other Frogs managed to get a single off Fleischacker.
Fleischacker was also aided by his offense which gave him a run in every inning. Jesus Martinez hit his second homer of the day in the third inning, Saentis Zeller added his team-leading ninth double of the season plus two singles, and Patrick Zöllig shined with a three-hit performance.
Thomas Landis again relieved and tossed two more scoreless innings, lowering his ERA to 5.24.
