The Challengers weren't intimidated by a fast start by the Lausanne Indians, and went on to win 19-9 in seven innings in Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader.Thomas Burger picked up his first win of the season by throwing a complete game in which he allowed nine runs - four of them unearned - on 10 hits and a season-high four walks, while also striking out five.
Tobias Siegrist went 4-for-4, including his team-leading fifth double of the season, and both Thomas Blank and Geovanni Ureña had three hits and three RBI's apiece.

But the Challengers came right back and answered with four runs of their own, two on Ureña's first double of the season.
They added four more in the second inning on a throwing error and RBI-singles by Blank and Ureña.
An error by shortstop Saentis Zeller and a two-run double by Mario Bonilla again tied the game at 8-8.
And the Challengers managed to score again four runs in the third inning, as well. Jose Castillo hit an RBI-double, Chris Palatinus' batted ball was booted for an error that scored Siegrist from third, a throwing error by catcher Valero scored Castillo from third, and Blank capped the inning with an RBI-double, his fourth of the year.
Then the scoring calmed down a bit, as the Challengers added just one more in the fourth inning on Siegrist's RBI-single for a 13-8 lead.
But in the final two innings, the Challengers got it going one more time. Nicolas Jaquemet's loss of control, coupled with some errors, pushed six more runs over the plate for the Challengers for the final score of 19-9.
