Challengers pummel Rainbows again 16-1

The Challengers started Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Embrach Rainbows just like the first contest. They sent nine batters to the plate, accounting for the first five runs of the game.

Saentis Zeller, who hit five doubles in the first game, led off the game with another one off Wittweiler, followed by Thomas Landis' fifth double of the day.

Tobias Siegrist plated Landis with his second homer of the season, Chris Palatinus and Thomas Burger followed with singles, and Adrian Kämpfer">Adrian Kämpfer plated Burger with his third double of the year.

Six more runs in the second inning already blew the game wide open at 11-0.

Every Challenger except Geovanni Ureña picked up at least one RBI, with Zeller leading all players with three.

The first four batters of the lineup went a combined 10-for-16, including one homer and four doubles, while Thomas Burger had his first multi-hit game of his career by going 2-for-2.
