3Challengers cruise to 18-3 victory
With a lot of confidence from Game 1's victory, the Challengers continued their torrid hitting, ripping the Embrach Rainbows 18-3 in Game 2.Bregy picked up his second win of the season.
Geovanni Ureña pitched the final two innings, giving up only two more hits but no runs. He still has to give up a run in 2007, going scoreless over 8 1-3 innings this year.
Every starter except Patrick Zöllig had at least one hit, with Thomas Blank leading the pack with a 3-for-4 performance, and a career-high four RBI's.
Game notes
With the Zurich Barracudas' getting rained out, the Challengers picked up a game in the standings, and broke a tie for first place. ...Chris Palatinus extended his team-leading hitting streak to seven games. He is followed by Blank and Ureña, who both have six consecutive games with at least one hit.
