Zurschmitten was named in the Swiss National Team’s 17-woman roster for this year’s Softball European Championship Women B, which will take place from July 27 till August 1 in Hoboken (Belgium).

Zurschmitten went 3-for-4 and collected four RBI's against the Odense Giants at the European Cup Winners Cup Women B in Dupnitsa, Bulgaria.

Zurschmitten belted her first career homer, a solo shot in the fifth inning off Sophie Zihlmann, against the Therwil Flyers. Furthermore in the second inning she delivered her second career triple.

Zurschmitten scored the first ever run in the team's European Cup history in the third inning against the Blagoevgrad Babes from Bulgaria. It was also the game-winning run, as the C's won 1-0.
