The NLB-Team celebrated its first win of the season on Saturday, April 18 against the Luzern Eagles, as the Challengers posted a 13-0 victory in Game 1. Oli Christen tossed a one-hitter with six strikeouts and three walks, while Yusuke Azuma delivered two doubles and Nick Lehmann added two hits to lead the offense. The C’s put things out of reach by scoring five runs in the third inning to make it 8-0.

After Game 1 was all Challengers the Eagles fought back and walked away with a 14-10 win in Game 2. The C’s have now a 1-3 record after two gamedays.
