Challengers edged again, Barracudas lead 2-0
The Challengers took another tough loss in Game 2 on Sunday, August 30 against the Zürich Barracudas, this time the C’s lost 4-5. The Challengers almost erased a five-run deficit, but left the tying run on second base in the bottom of the ninth inning.

So it was in the eight frame, as the C’s scored another run with Siegrist crossing the plate on a wild pitch. The Barracudas are now leding the best-of-five semi-final series 5-4, so that the Challengers are already with their backs against the wall. Game 3 will take place on Saturday, September 5 at the Heerenschürli park.
