The Softball European Championship Women will take place in Rosmalen/Netherlands with 21 teams from July 19 to 25. At the ESF Congress in Dublin on February 7 the drawing of the groups has been done by Michelle Smith USA (two times Olympic Gold Medallist). Switzerland will play in group D facing Italy, Great Britain, Slovakia and Bulgaria.

The Swiss National Softball Women Team began its preparation with a start-up day on February 8 with Headcoach Jérome Müller.
