The Challengers salvaged a split against the front-running Therwil Flyers to remain in contention for the final Playoff spot. Game 1 was tied at 6-6 through seven innings before the Challengers’ offense exploded for nine runs in the bottom of the eighth for a 15-6 win.
In Game 2, Lucas Croton dominated the Challengers’ bats in a 6-0 shutout win, dropping the Challengers’ record to 11-11.
The Challengers are now tied with the Zürich Barracudas for fourth place in the standings, with both teams still facing the Flyers two more times.
