Das Wintertraining für das Zürich Challengers Softball Team findet jeden Montag von 18.15 bis 19.45 Uhr und jeden Donnerstag von 20.00 bis 21.30 Uhr in der Turnhalle Rämibühl an der Rämistr. 80 in Zürich statt (Tram 5 & 9 bis Kantonsschule). Das erste Training nach den Weihnachtsferien findet am Montag, 5. Januar statt.
Zusätzlich findet jeden Dienstag von 18.15 bis 20.00 Uhr das Pitcher/Catcher Training in der Turnhslle Lavater an der Schulhausstr. 1 in Zürich statt (Tram 7 bis Museum Rietberg).

Das Wintertraining für das Zürich Challengers Baseball Team findet jeden Mittwoch von 18.15 bis 19.45 Uhr und jeden Freitag von 20.00-21.30 Uhr in der Turnhalle Rämibühl an der Rämistr. 80 in Zürich statt (Tram 5 & 9 bis Kantonsschule). Das erste Training nach den Weihnachtsferien findet am Mittwoch, 7. Januar statt. Zusätzlich findet jeden Montag von 18.15 bis 19.45 Uhr das Pitcher/Catcher Training statt.

The winter practice for the Zurich Challengers Softball Team will take place every Monday from 6.15pm till 7.45pm and every Thursday from 8.00pm till 9.30pm at the Turnhalle Rämibühl at the Rämistrasse 80 in Zurich (tram 5 & 9 to Kantonsschule). The first session after the Christmas break will take place on Monday, January 5.
In addition to that the pitcher/catcher practice will take place every Tuesday from 6.15pm till 8.00pm at the Turnhalle Lavater at the Schulhausstr. 1 in Zurich (tram 7 to Museum Rietberg).

Andreas Rüdisühli received the 1st League-Team’s MVP award at the General Assembly on November 30 at the Restaurant Linde Oberstrass. Pedro Lorenzo was named Best Pitcher, while Jeffrey Pomuceno was credited with the Best Fielder award. The Most Improved Player award went to Dominic Gisin and Ilario Scapozza.

Leandra Simitovic won her fifth MVP award at the Challengers’ General Assembly on November 30. Simitovic led the Team Zürich with a .375 batting average and 15 RBI’s, a .981 fielding percentage and collected 21 hits and 19 runs scored to take away also the Best Batter award. As a pitcher she went 3-5 with a 10.62 ERA and 16 strikeouts in 29.2 innings pitched.
Victoria Shepard was named Best Pitcher, as she set team-highs with 4 wins, a 2.28 ERA and 70 strikeouts in 46 innings pitched. Ronja Weber was credited with the Best Fielder award finishing with a .879 fielding percentage in her second career season.
