1st League-Team edged by Golgoths
The 1st League-Team lost twice on Sunday, July 27 at Lausanne to finish the qualification round with a 4-8 record. The SG TruckStar/Challengers tried everything against the Yverdon Golgoths, but fell short by one run, losing the first game 6-7. Not much hope for a better result in Game 2, as the SG faced the so far unbeaten Lausanne Indians. And they showed why they are in first place, winning the contest by 24-1. By losing its last four games the SG TruckStar/Challengers will miss the playoffs and will play for ninth place. (Photo by TruckStar)
