The newly founded second Softball-Team SG Eagles/Challengers faced the Zurich Barracudas on Sunday, April 29. And it was all Barracudas in Game 1, as the SG EAG/CHA didn’t escape the first inning and the Barracudas scored eleven runs and rolled to a 17-2 victory. Valentina Verdesca drove in a run in her very first career game.
The SG EAG/CHA had a better start in Game 2, as they scored three runs in the bottom of the first inning, but the Barracudas offense exploded for 17 hits en route to a 17-6 win. Izumi Nitta had two hits and scored a pair of runs, while Isabel Schmid delivered a single and Sandrine Montandon had a RBI-single and scored a run.
